  1. Ok let’s do this — how hard can it be.
  2. Why am I not able to sit still and just focus?
  3. Fuck this shit, I need an app.
  4. So let’s try out this Headspace thing, and let’s see what happens.
  5. This is better.
  6. Maybe this is not a complete waste of time.
  7. What if I meditate for 15 minutes instead of 10?
  8. Bad idea.
  9. 15 minutes is hella long
  10. Seriously, how is it this long?
  11. Am I supposed to feel weird?
  12. Maybe this was a bad idea.
  13. I’m just going to stick with it and see what happens.
  14. How can sitting still and breathing be this hard?
  15. OK, what if I just focus really hard?
  16. Nope.
  17. Focus. Breathe.
  18. “Remember that time, you did that thing that made you sad”
  19. Now I’m going to seriously take this meditating thing serious.
  20. Breathe. Focus on the breath. In and out.
  21. That’s it.
  22. So this is what it’s supposed to feel like.
  23. Maybe this isn’t a complete waste of time after all.
  24. How does Headspace have this many types of meditations?
  25. Let me try a different type.
  26. I need it to go for a bit longer.
  27. What if I try it without the app?
  28. This is cool.
  29. I am getting sharper.

  31. Focus. Breathe. That’s it.
