Julian Treasure believes so.

In his phenomenal new book “How To Be Heard”, Treasure writes about powerful speaking and more importantly powerful listening.

It turns out, that most of us prefer speaking over listening. It turns out that most of us are busy thinking about what to say next instead of actually listening to the words that are coming out of the mouth of the person next to us.

If you’ve followed my writing, it’s no surprise that I’m a fan of the work Julian is doing, and the message he is conveying. I believe he is doing important work, because listening is such an underrated tool, which we can all use to tremendous benefit in our everyday lives.
