Do you feel unhappy? Here are 5 actions to make you feel happier

We all feel lost sometimes — it just happens. We get periods where we feel down in the dumps, and we don’t really know how to get out of a rut. When we start feeling this way, it’s good to have a few go-to actions, that we can do, in order to get out of the rut as quickly as possible.

In this article, I’m going to present five of the ones, that I’ve found to be highly effective, and my hope (and conviction) is that you’ll find them to be helpful as well.

Talk to your best friend in person

In today’s day and age it is often too easy to talk to people without really talking. We send a snapchat, tweet about our day and Instagram what we’re doing.

As fun as this is, it is not real face to face contact with another human being. In a world where the majority of our interactions are through some type of media, it is refreshing to talk to someone face to face — it can have an almost magical quality.

Especially if the person we’re talking to is someone who we can share something with on a deep and meaningful level.

I don’t have any siblings, but I am blessed to have a few extremely close friends, that I consider as close as family. The sound of their voice gives me a sense of satisfaction…
